Homicidal Maniac Watch Online

Oscars tap tap tap Review

Vorneweg before I burst: I absolutely must get rid of one thing: I have just seen a new Top 10 film. And so perfect for me. And I say certainly not common. I'm still very shaky. Two hours later I was on Durchschnaufen. What a film, even though I had actually refused to look at him myself - for fear of a girl movie. And why I was? Blame the recovered Oscar.

Well, first things first:
This year, I found the Oscar nominations damn exciting. That is why I kept the live broadcast almost ... But my God, every 5 minutes of advertising. And then always the same, that was simply too much on the nerves. Well, wiedemauchsei.
They were very good films in the running. Very good and very different. Inception, Alice in Wonderland, The Social Network, The King's Speech, (even) Tron: Legacy, True Grit, Black Swan, The Fighter, 127 Hours, and Toy Story 3 Edited by Tron and Alice apart they were all in contention for the best film of last year. The first 5 I had seen, even if I had except for the small sections on Inception and Alice reported nothing. True Grit, I had it yesterday and today considered Black Swan.

Inception. shredded A terrific film that one's brain around snaps, then and wrong back together. Huge effects, good actors and music, and very interesting plot (though with logic errors). I left the cinema and thought two days later about it. Meanwhile, he stands as a DVD behind me, therefore I have now seen him a second time - and the slow-motion function learned to love. A point I've really out-hergespult five times and before I had really understood. Well, as I said. Very entertaining and exciting film. He conceded, however, as none of the major categories. Well, the Oscar for original screenplay, I would have given him: So sick shit you can not really imagine. He went to the big winners of the evening. But with 4 legitimate Oscars in technical disciplines (sound, sound editing, cinematography, VFX), he shows very clearly what a film he is in fact: one for watching and SFX enjoy.

Alice in Wonderland. In had reported me. Super Great fantasy film. All of Tim Burton and Johnny Depp halt. Is the way already on the shelf. The two artistic Oscars for production design and costumes are deserved uneinschränkt. Point.

The Social Network. I'm not a fan of social networks, from simple narrative films, where it does not matter if I see them on the big screen and later on television. Social network falls into this category. And it was probably only a little boredom and the urge to want to see how an IT success story can be filmed for the mainstream. Well, the answer was Justin Timberlake, some high-school chicks and lots of cat fight. I liked the movie and not particularly do not know what the world refers to him. Admittedly, it was probably just because I related to any of the actors was warm somehow. But that does not change the fact. Ultimately, the big acclaimed movie was not the big winner. can the Oscar for best adapted screenplay not judge me, is not my matter. It was granted to him without comment. The best cut is okay, I think - for the same reason. How to evaluate sections from a technical point of view, I do not know. But on the third I could get upset beyond measure: The supposedly best film music had Hans Zimmer's "Inception" and Alexandre Desplat, "The King's speech" a competitor. Inception is already out of any room BestOf herauszudenken more, and the next grandiosity such as Pirates of the Caribbean, the Oscar-winning The Lion King, King Arthur and Gladiator. And Desplats Soundtrack ran until yesterday at my up and down, just because of the very sensitive piano piece. But The Social Network? I was not in the approach somehow catchy. Too bad the biggest misconception of the evening.

The King's Speech. The much vaunted winner with 3 of the 4 major categories (best film, director, lead actor) was without doubt "The King's Speech", the story of the stuttering King George VI (Colin Firth), and its civil and very unconventional language therapists (Geoffrey Rush) . I first saw him last week and liked him very much. For a pure narrative cinema, he has entertained me very well. I found it uninteresting for a second or long-winded. It was telling a very moving story, with very good actors. Even Helena Bonham-Carter is once in a different role as a madman to see what only the beginning looks a little funny. Both were nominated for supporting actor, but had soft TheFighter. Restrained, yet catchy music accompanied him constantly. It is hard to describe, but really to recommend. Simply a well made movie.

Tron: Legacy. What have I got myself on the film. OK, it's admittedly an absolute nerd movie and it was clear from the outset that the find was not well received. Many thought, and is not even aware that it is a continuation of a 80-year strip. As a computer scientist and Frisbee-obsessed, it was time for me almost a must to buy it. The first film to be completely computer-animated Scenes could come up, the animated performance reasons on screen was completely black colored lines. Accordingly, the costumes, which ultimately results in a very dark and spacey look. The successor should be kept in the same style, was nevertheless - without really losing the old style - very much modernized. Sure, the act can be thrown away, but the pictures are terrific. A film to be watching and happy. However, a bissel Nerdtum still needed even to make it easy to find, I think. Long before movies start, legends grew around the great soundtrack by Daft Punk. And really, in the film the electric sounds across a very interesting and appropriate. It was something completely different. A nomination I would have indulged in the two definitively. Instead, the film was only for me in the least interesting and least important category nominated and not won. One Oscar, and when it would only for the sound editor, I would really indulged in the film. Another downside was that the film anywhere in Berlin was still in 2D. The time for the disgustingly expensive-yet-only 3D movies seem to come. Too bad, but again I will probably sit in front of the screen less than usual. 3D I do not like a headache and is more expensive than the DVD.

True Grit. I like Jeff Bridges. And how much I could imagine the "Dude" as a drunken Marshall in the Wild West. So from the movies. Me most, however, has not he, but the 14-year-old actor Hailee Steinfeld impressed. She is so incredibly self-conscious over, so incredibly routine and callous. I mean, yes, that was her role, but she played it brilliantly. Really great. For me it is definitely much more than just the supporting actress, for which she was Oscar nominated. I would have indulged in it to the girl anyway. Otherwise? Very entertaining film with some amusing places to giggle. I thought it was no trace of dark, not in line for me the reviews. It was just a more modern Western with nice action. Good Movie, but nothing really special. He received also an Oscar, what concerns me (besides the already mentioned for the girl) in order.

Black Swan. The soundtrack is just the estimated 10th Time in my life loop. What a film. As already mentioned, I did not watch it myself actually. Dance movies are corrosive. And really other positive reviews I have not read or heard. Except one who spoke of psychological thriller. I also like Natalie Portman a lot. I can not remember a role in which she was really bad. And she's pretty stunning. Well, get out of my little room, and to complete the Academy series of films to some extent, I am now disengaged again to me to slouch into a cinema seat ... And I saw a terrific film. No, I think I saw, no, lived a perfect film. Tchaikovsky fall to one's ears and gloom, it was a delight. Sweat ran down my back, I was shaking. The voltage, where ever they came from really, was almost unbearable. What a film. Portman in a starring role. Fragile and beautiful, but so versatile, as possible. As the battle between good and evil was shown was incredible. An inner struggle that stretches into the darkest corner of the psyche of the main character Nina. If an Oscar was deserved, then this. An easy and simple set of acts associated with a dramatic camera work, unforeseen cuts and simple sounds boring suddenly cramped and not in the approach. And again and again to the well-known Swan-melodies. Over and over again. But clearly varies, sometimes dark as the black soul, sometimes fast and fun like the feet of the dancers. I do not know how to express it. Ultimately, it is a dance film, but completely different. Frightening. Darker. Uncertain.

The Fighter. He is not running yet, I will not even see. I do not like boxing. And Boxfilme not. In spite of really great male occupation. While the primary role of Mark Wahlberg was not even nominated, admitted from Christian Bale as a supporting actor. Whether this time it was deserved or not, I do not know. But overall I do not begrudge him the Oscar very much. He has played in the past really great roles, was time that he sometimes took his turn. The ring also winning Actor Melissa Leo, I do not know can tell me anything.

127 Hours. Ongoing either. And here it is questionable whether the really interested me. If you as a boredom thing. However, while we must see that at least the next half year period cinema is called for, good with all the announcements. So this is probably nothing. 6 nominations, no gain. But you have just always see the top-class competition, however. Says not so much from.

Toy Story 3 Well good, I have mentioned only for completeness. Named best animated film. Well, no idea. I was never a fan of Toy Story, have even forgot that I have ever seen the second, and if he was even worse than the first. Had I then clamped.

still lack the Oscars for the shorts and documentaries, but I am abstaining times my voice.

Did I already mention how incredibly impressed Black Swan was? I am seriously looking at me the one more time. So who wants to report you. Tchaikovsky, one should not necessarily hate. Wow, what a crass film! My face! I will now dream of night, guaranteed. I am still totally blown away ...

If A Scorpioman Is Into You

Due to numerous requests to write after all the reason for the complete uneventful here.

For not only happening here very little, so I'm almost even not out of the house. It is primarily the home stretch of my studies debt. Yes, I write now for 2 months at my master's thesis. For that I am working with the wonderful topic of "Online Advertising". is annoyed It's about all the advertisements, that anyone who does not use adblock. And most likely to be among you have noticed that the advertising is always appealing somehow. To cook or to find advertisements for recipe books or Mietköche. You've yesterday interested in the new Lady and is now churning out advertising Venus ? No chance. This is called personalized online advertising. And therein lies the Rabbit in the pepper. For this personalization a bunch of data about you, your usage patterns and that sort of thing is necessary. Are now included with every click, and also with each mouse movement, registered, stored and analyzed. Google, the largest commercial provider knows, by this analysis probably more about you and your psyche as her own And because it is evil, I will remove it.
Well, not quite. I is not supposed to judge based on the Internet that are largely funded by advertising. I want to find a way to get the Personlisierung of advertising, while leaving but not pass data to the outside.

to as much theory. There have written are now already some writings and papers that are smart people, or just Unimitarbeiter must justify their jobs. All these papers fill only a portion of possible security leaks can be, others ignore or break even with their great new system. My job is so accurate in analyzing the current situation, what are the possibilities of attack is what is done, the solutions provide the models of the wise men, etc. As a result, ideally, come out the perfect analysis that reveals at a glance how to save the world. This is perhaps the idea of my professors, or something: D

Well, the original subject is not really interesting. At the very beginning it was still called that I should rumlesen times, but there were few models and then I'll find out one and build a Firefox addon that does exactly what is described in the paper. And good. Well, it turned out that all this is much more complicated. In the end, I have now read more than 60 scientific works, from simple advertising models to the early days of cryptography. A paper from 1981 was even hand-written. There is considerably more work, but in the analysis and summary, as well for a master's thesis. After all, is only half a year. This in turn means that I somewhere has to make compromises. However, at one point was my Prof and thought I would have to read into this or that thing too. It was the only concrete example of the demand for a detail of a detail of a detail of a paper that was different from other work already cut down and improved. But perhaps the other authors of this paper not only understood and it is God and can judge everything. Therefore, reading and more detailed work. And it would still be nice if I have this evaluation and that did not work and a perfect master must also be disclosed to third. This led to 2 months that I write to 3 full days to use a script that 1 million. (!) Searches web pages for a file and this conglomeration also analyzed. And I know now to not know why I should ever use in my work. Is probably a footnote, just to show that I "have done.

Well, long story ... I sit for months without interruption in my room 16sqm sleep, eat, and work in it. It's like jail. I come out no more. Not even an office I have and are missing in the library just too many notes, which make up here now, the main decoration on my bed. My life is shifting toward bringing no longer to get out of bed because there are my notes, you can write on the notebook and the Papers read a lot more comfortable. Meanwhile, I'm waking up at 14:00 h and sleep at 3:00 h. is already sick, I know. All that is true corrosive. Especially because in fact lack any motivation. In my work to do what little creative and it really just paperwork. Since I perform well maybe a pioneering effort, I have no one with whom can I talk about any ideas or questions. Every 2-3 weeks I send my Prof need something that answers a lot again 1-2. So this is hardly co-mentioned. No one can say exactly what is to come out at the end. Ideally Weltumkrempeln with cream on top. The Prof is there with his statements and not really accurate with its "That ought to be ever schaffbar" voluntary obligation not motivating. In addition, the crappy weather outside my window makes it impossible, good to go caching, to compensate. Climbing and diving, I would be very very happy, but falls out due isnich. And finally, I had searched then a (admittedly slightly varied) "compensation" employment, which I just reported - also died in the now. After all, cooperation is not as unlikely Schauma times.

So, enough crying:) I have by now, otherwise I had a very chill term study, compared to other - now I have to throw up sometimes:) I sort it out. And if all goes well, might in half a year, a 1 before the decimal point of my Master's degree. Schakka!

parallel pottering

" Oh great ... Beautiful ... shit," I'm just me. I work for about two weeks every free minute on a programming project. And although I've missed in ages a wonderful tool for my phone, what does such a small calculation in geocaching. Quasi times fast way to convert the number system and aim in Australian Standardellipsoiden. Or so ... I'm on already encountered the most vicious multi-stages. For all kinds of phones out there such tool collections, for Android so far only immature or paid. Since I was recently hooked on Flik again, I had a sudden desire to become once again a little creative and give to the community in the not too distant future, something. So losgetipselt and calculated and researched undundund ...

Yes ... and ... And then I just see the blog post a cache who introduces the brand new just released tool GCC . Just what I create now. Exactly the same. Super, was kind of flutes from one moment to the next all motivation to program even further and constantly to tear your hair out ... So there have been two programmers at the same time the same thought: " Gibts nothin ', I'll just. "
Well, admittedly, his program already with many more features that most currently only exists as to-do list in my head. And it is colorful. But that would also come yet. Design for last, the main thing I use have her. But some of its features I have implemented already. And since I'm in such things by nature a perfectionist, are my tools, after all, usually a spark better.

Wiedemauchsei. I did the competitors get just even a merger offer . I Wait, what will come of it. Otherwise, I have to do nothing more suddenly and can be very good next to my master work Scheißdreckspissekackefurz , Tipseln without distraction.

Wax Eyebrows Right Before Spray Tan

Pt Arts in Berlin. II

The polar bears but we have not seen it yet (alternatively, but still high-class Frisbee Sports * gg *), but last Saturday we went off to the bird.

Second-row seats at the playing field, cards sponsored by fat man in a red coat. If you know the O 2 -only World of concerts, one of the sight of the slaying vollbestuhlten wheels length somehow killed e. me most of the playing field the very small size. Considering the Grlöße Hall effect, so a basketball field incredibly small. This impression is exacerbated by the Lullatsche that move because it. Damn, a lot not too long gambled. Whether well again 10 + people find for such a little game to refresh the memories and stuff? 'm Fully there.

The game between Alba Berlin and Bayreuth BBC was quite exciting. In the first quarter of the Berlin led with 10 points in the second they were caught again. So quickly the go in the sport, and I love him:) Well, then ultimately end result but clearly in favor of the Berlin (94:79). I found the following interesting fact: I knew so far only Regional basketball from Cottbus (White Devils!). But in my memory the last quarter attracted more hours out of thousands of fouls, etc. That was not the case last Saturday. But perhaps it was also due to the deu Tliche edge that you certainly could not make up by a couple of free throws.

What can I say about the comparative handball players : The cheerleaders had a lot more on it, and the mascot, just rocks. I mean "Foxy" is nice, but stop playing with the children rather than to watch the game and sitting 50% of the time just stupid in the corner. The "Albatros" - the way completely without a name, which must not be bad before something like Albi rumkommt at - is always in motion, running up and down the stands, jumping over railings and is damn simple and fully take the Poser. No camera, on the run, he could not pass without pose, cuddling or lolling on the seats. I like him :)
The overall mood, however I liked in the hall Schmeling more. It was in the O 2 -World not as if the audience would be lame, but I think because of the size spread the cheers and the fan "singing" very strong and does not make this sweeping cohesion. People XYZ stands somewhere Rank 12.3 (ok, there are only 2 or 3;)) may vary, the bottom did not get to you. In this respect, bigger is not necessarily better - even if the real Cheeringmädels gave everything.

Rotello And Velveeta Chicken P

Nacherzählomania

(Yeah, creativity can greet title ...)

Finally it was time again. Finally, the stormed Hebbel-Theater again. Finally stroll under a pile of totally sick movie-makers. " Total Recall", the Festival of Films retold took back the last two evenings on the Berlin stage. And because it last year was so incredibly awesome, I was present for both days this year.

total of 27 x 10min retellings are now behind me. The majority were really great, was not, in contrast to last year, really bad. With "Predator," "Captain Future" and "Pretty Woman" to romance a Kameraassi in rotation from N24-contribution "tax savings" was pretty much represented every conceivable genre. Outstanding for me were the contribution of a friend, self-confessed serial Look Erin, giving the audience an English short series about superheroes with stupid abilities ("Misfits") is closer brought and a gentleman, whom you last year talking about a Star Trek episode to hear , yesterday but the 105th Episode of "Elephant, Tiger & Co." slating.

I myself was on Friday on the verge spontaneously "Donnie Darko" to tell, but was thwarted by the control-happily girl. The next day I tried at home alone, this film in 10 minutes to accommodate so that it does not sound completely stupid - I did not succeed. The idea of using TK recent failed here link YouTube post to give the best. In the end I had probably but just cold feet. I hope I can do it next year to overcome me, and "Lion King" to give the best.

The "Silver Linde," the "most important award in the field of film retold" took the guy back home who asked about "Mamma Mia", or better its Mother and grandmother, Duke - good, but not for me in the neck in pole position. In general, many of my favorites were knocked off really well. Too bad:)

PS: The mandatory film music quiz I would have decided this year even all for myself. Once cried softly ("Kill Bill Vol 1") and in the other only half a second too long delayed ("Master and Commander"). That would have been the victory. Sun prove I could with two hits ("Disney's The Jungle Book" and "Waltz with Bashir") but at least 2nd place:) * * stolzis

Parts Of A Sunfish And Diagram

Burtonomania

News is Museum for Film and Television , or in the resident Kino Arsenal a Tim Burton- Showcase. Does that mean as much as it will be there within a month all Burton films in sound once or twice shown. Overall, I was there in the last 2 weeks 3x visitors.

Starting Burton had my series with "Batman . It was terrific to be able to experience this movie times on screen. The intro, which was actually nothing more than a tracking shot through the Batman logo, along with the theme music alone worth the money. This has worked so awesome, that was unglaubt. And to see the real reason for hunting, the Batwing on the big screen was pure goosebumps. Great, just great.

Two days later I had a card for Burton's first feature film "Pee-Wee 's Big Adventure " reserved, unfortunately I was unable to attend.

Instead, I went on Sunday to " Edward Scissorhands " I, as I must confess to my shame, never before seen. Was worth it. Is really a totally beautiful film. Here it was the first time that I saw that really all people the guy waited until they left the hall. Impressive.

And because I had on Wednesday night boredom, I'm back again. " Mars Attacks! " was on the board. I had totally forgotten how fun is:) Ok, it is determined again ten years since I last saw him and certainly did not understand everything, but yesterday I enjoyed themselves immensely. Together with a very amused audiences.

seen together so you can actually reach the only conclusion that this man is just totally awesome. My respect!

Auckland, Hong Kong, Erkner

will miss him, of Auckland Skytower ...

This last blog entry is to trace our journey home, which consisted of six slim flights. Within less than a week we were able to adopt both due to Auckland, as well as the commercial metropolis of Hong Kong to explore. And, of course were again our loyal blogger who is too Fotoapparillo and the notepad.

very un-Christian times, we leave to Cairns to go to Sydney to Auckland. Unchristian then are the steep prices, of the Cairns airport has in store for us. A trolley for the luggage only costs $ 3 rental fee. We can skillfully lie to the left and buck our bags for check-in. Our excess baggage given us unbeatable $ 160 fine (with our laptop and Jenny's purse will be included in the bill - a scandal for me Well folks! "! Avoid Jetstar" - saves you the stress ...). Accordingly, we climb the wild red head and cursing the plane. Toll, a departure, we have probably introduced more harmonious ...
stay in Sydney runs a little in the length, but sweetened by free Internet. In Auckland we are Finally, at 1:30 at night to clock. We resolve to combat the jet lag in the coming days look more active and a live game of the Australian Basketball League, before we drop dead tired in the springs and blissful sleep.
street art ... this has me really excited!

After sufficient sleep and a frightened maid but we went out once to fresh air in order to properly say goodbye to Auckland. As might be expected, it rained continuously. Although it was not cold but not so pleasant! Little Round led us to our favorite food court, where once delicious Chinese and Japanese was eaten. Further, it walked up Queen Street in the direction of the local bank, because Basti New Zealand student account would be resolved. On the way I had to hold very hard at Basti's strong arms and ran as on eggs, because my flip-flops in combination with Auckland's streets and the rain was like an icy slide. But fortunately it cleared up on, the sun was even looking times. We continued our walk towards the university, where the rain started again, then it went past our old home and we looked wistfully at the 11th Stock! A great time we had there ... but Today was no time for sentimentality and emotional outbursts, because it was raining now very uncomfortable. Our round took us to our old department store, later passing several souvenir shops and back to the hotel. So we could one day again almost all of our stations scour nearly five-month stay in Auckland.
The next two days were more or less filled with last shopping: we probably have every gift shop two visits to all present for to get home, we ate the last time Butter Chicken in the university and one last time the nighttime skyline of Auckland admired.
Thursday 5:00 the alarm rang again inhuman, 5:30 came the taxi and at 8:00 we were sitting on the plane to Hong Kong, excess baggage fees this time without the hassle of discussions at the check-in desk and expensive.
... finally in Hong Kong ...

Hong Kong
We come to Hong Kong in the evening, we grab the suitcases, put us in the airport express and rush to Hong Kong Station, a hub of the city. There is already waiting Marcus, who in the coming days as the unique blend of innkeeper, guide will shine and animator. Invite as a part of the extremely chaotic traffic and on the other hand, the exorbitant parking rates not just to drive their own cars (Marcus is so autolos ...), we climb to the first but not last time one of the taxes. This is mostly controlled by risk-loving, fast-seeking full-patients. A circumstance which conjures us here and there a few gray hairs on his head and terror under the armpits. Well, we are least well at Marcus' to stall, kick off your bags, grab a few barley-containing soft drinks and eat typical Chinese - per order at McDonalds (This one question: Why are not these delivery service in the old World?). Maybe it's the Big Macs in the belly, perhaps Alhohoool in the blood stream or just the 24-hour day, but somehow his eyes strum with fatigue. The bed calls and we obey ...
The next morning, the sun smiles on us in the face. The weather compels you to explore the city, preferably running way. So the direction of street markets and from there to the ferry terminal to Lamma-Iceland. As Marcus' slug is quite centrally located, need few steps to reach all the strange smells and food and the hustle and bustle of a Chinese market. Here and there ne half goat carcasses hanging in the bright sunlight around (her head is still intact; the frightened expression can be tough to close habits in the methods of slaughter). In addition, we find, especially on spring critters hook as well as vegetables and fruits in all shapes and colors.
... uff'n market

Since we still have nothing in the stomach, we are moving in the direction of a feeding street, is where gefuttert tasty Thai. The Ferry Terminal is once again driven by taxi. This form of transportation can be a while here and there inside "sky sacrament" call, but is extremely cheap. In this country we are in similar lines the same Money for a public transport ticket from. The trip to the upstream Lamma-Iceland is really fast, but leads us into a completely different world. The bustle of the city is gone, the many dropouts living here is "laissez-faire" in big letters written on his forehead. Along narrow streets, which seem to often lead to cross through the property of the residents we work ourselves into an idyllic beach. Idyllic, if you take the three chimneys of the ignored next to the beach nearby power station. But the water is warm determined, and the three-eyed fish can swim backwards ...
site Idyll on Lamma Iceland

We trek over a surprisingly well-developed road towards "Sok Kwu Wan", meaning "place where the ferry leaves the three Europeans. There, Jenny and Marcus nibble a little seafood, while one of my busy peanuts to eat with chopsticks - a grueling work
Jenny and Marcus' food ....

Away from the many restaurants The town is dominated by a colony of fishermen in the harbor basin. The life and work virtually in a small boat or floating metal housing. Where most time of their wastewater? Strengthened and full of energy (snoring, jet lag) is the ferry back to Hong Kong Iceland climbed. Meanwhile, the Sun is in retreat and the guide still has a trick up its sleeve that has something to do with "Skyline" and "Outlook". So so ...
Beautiful sunset on Lamma Iceland

While we were still on the ferry back to Hong Kong Iceland could marvel at one of the most beautiful sunsets of our trip and Basti ecstatic with the Photoapparillo almost escalated, Marcus thought a step further and took us to the peak. The peak was a good mix of tourist-shopping area and viewing platform. To get there, we had to once again be high and the fear of death drove a taxi stand. But it was worth it: the views of Hong Kong at night is unique. Although got Basti and I forget that night ever in a foretaste of things cold, but the colorful lights of the skyline, we let the icy wind.
view from "The Peak" to make the city ... all the "Oh" ...

gave the evening the three of us for the first barbecue of the new year. The procurement of ingredients was found to be more difficult than expected, because we were quite late and Marcus favorite meat shop had no beauty more available. We thought that it would now end up paw pigs, goats heads and cats on the grill. But far from it. In the mini-supermarket, there were even pieces of filet and our evening was saved. However, set out with the full stomach, the fatigue wide and I had my part, I have the red blanket rolled up and would fall asleep on the spot. My project was unfortunately stopped by the guys who wanted to play Sing Star. Well I did not tell me twice, and with the corresponding crystal-clear drink in the glass, we sang three in competition. Strangely enough, the boys cut off a lot better than me (well, no wonder I was in the school choir also always in the back so no one can hear me).
The next morning was already waiting for us, we had an appointment with a boat ride. Friends of Marcus had rented a Junte and that we should sail the next eight hours to Hong Kong around Iceland. Fortunately we had before departure or with food and Beverages stocked up, because once on the boat there was nothing more than a small toilet, music and good humor.
nonsense auf'm boat ...

the late afternoon we also had luck and the sun set through the thick paste made by clouds. So it was that we experienced our second beautiful sunset on a boat to the entrance to Hong Kong!
... such a joy
... again a jump photo

Basti and I then adopted by the Group and of Marcus, screamed our suitcases for us and so we plunged bravely alone in the evening traffic. But we knew the city well, yes even as our hand.
... auf'm way home saw: the double-decker tram.

Again, the alarm clock rang at 5:00, 5:30 Marcus we said goodbye and see you soon and thanks for the hospitality and at 8:00 we sat again for aircraft, this time really after in the direction of home. We were extremely lucky, because we were alone there are four in number for us. So I could make pretty long at over three seats, while Basti settle for a seat there.

landed around 19 clock our last flyer Berlin and received us as it now is; cold and bureaucratic, as the passport control took place almost outside. For the reception afterwards was even warmer. Our families and some friends waited for hours determined longingly at the airport and we did not want to let go of their embrace. And yes, there are tears of joy flowed as from the torrents!

fact that the greeting is not "only" on an interpersonal level but also at culinary fashion went from Amsterdam of course I liked very much. From burgers to grilled meats and dips to a run-all was called up, which can drop a tooth. So it is hardly surprising that deep into the night to nibble, talk and celebrating. Thank you for that warm welcome party!
Ciao, it was nice to you!

A Another big thank you goes out to you, the readers of the blog. We hope you brought by one or other story and accompanying photos of our great time at the other end of the world a little closer to have. And we thank you for the letters, the many emails and phone calls from the old country to New Zealand and Australia, have always held on the date! Exactly! We remain with best regards,

Jenny and Basti

software updates

first From OpenOffice.org is libre office
OK, that's not entirely true, but almost ... So far, the open-source project was to create a free counterpart for MS Office under the aegis of Sun Microsystems. This company, however, was bought by Oracle. And so somehow OpenOffice.org. Oracle had a paid relatively quickly Version of the office suite introduced. In response to rapidly split off a few people and programmed on the suite of trademark issues, but under a different name: libre office. The goal should be, the project wi e been developing free and clear of any further corporate interests. Therefore libre office sees as the legitimate successor of the last free version of OOo 3.2.1 today, bringing out the first stable version, regardless of the new name simply numbered with 3.3 on. There are some features brings more with it as it is for a new version looks, of course, but otherwise exactly the same.
I for my part, now my old OOo version libre uninstalled and installed office and I will soon introduce yet to work. Since many large companies from the open source world, including Google, Canonical (ie the patron of Ubuntu Linux; Libo will come along in 11:04 instead of OOo), RedHat, ... have pledged support, is here to develop safe to go further.

Note

I quote again completely and without comment:

If bright stupid Muslims under the supervision of the German police, a few barrels stored in a garage and hair dyes by Western Intelligence will be supplied with accessories, they are a splinter group of Al Qaeda and justify retention, fingerprints in the ID card, the use of the armed forces of power in the interior and the "just war" (Rektalvioline Matthias Matussek at Anne Will ) in Afghanistan.

Windburn On Baby Cheeks

the town without food Pt.III

Some of you may recall the strange affair of the Phantom of the Opera, a mystery never fully explained. We are told, ladies and gentlemen, that this is the very chandelier Which figures in the famous disaster. Our workshops have restored it and fitted it up parts of it with wiring for the new electric light so that we may get a hint of what it may look like when reassembled. Perhaps we may frighten away the ghost of so many years ago with a little illumination, gentlemen?
[Prologue, The Phantom Of The Opera]

goosebumps.

That was then. I do not know how many years I had longed for e this event. The Phantom of the Opera to see live. The Musical of Musicals. And we were sitting in it. Here on the London Broadway. Here at the Picadilly, in "Her Majesty Theatre. Was The stage a work of art in itself. Although we saw at the beginning is not really anything like this, but if only the elaborate curtains aroused a feeling in me, d he described to me hard. Falls Theatre itself was very pretty. opulence at every turn, portraits and reliefs, wherever you look. Yes, the Phantom was worthy. Somehow, you felt even before the start as a visitor of that legendary opera house in Paris. It was great. Only the seats left much to be desired. I think the British have, on average, much smaller than us landlubbers. The rest ended up somewhere in the Cross and the leg was worse than the train. The result was always the man in front of his man behind the knees in the back. Thanks Anne, I could but sit on the floor, pushing my legs there and was able to comfortably follow the action.
Even after the overture was the exhilaration. The costumes were a stunner, but featured the sets sc
hlicht all in the shade. And then it came. With "Think of me" she sang her way into the hearts of the audience. And as for us both, it also managed not even the Phantom Raoul, topple them from the throne. The two principal male roles were great, but Christine was not enough in the water approach.
The theater was worth the money. All
emal. An incredible production that was actually almost perfect. The stage show, the chandelier, the balcony. Class. The singing and acting were terrific. And yet, unfortunately, only almost perfect. I personally found it a little, failed. Unmasked the Phantom looked somewhat ridiculous. Moreover, the actor tried to unmasking a particular threat to put it in his voice failed him what I think. And so for me was the end of the phantom of the carvers in the otherwise wonderful performance. Anne does not share this last opinion by the way.

As we again were at the gates of the theater, killed us. It was previously colorful and flashy, so the time it's even be topped. The streets are full
Party People. Everywhere you look, long limousines and drunken people. Too much of the good. Spontaneously, the plan was made to spend the last hours of the stay somewhere in a nice ale or cider at a local pub near Liverpool Street. Was it fatigue or was it even for a Berlin a culture shock, anyway, we just wanted to get away. Rapidly in the next, of course mercilessly crowded, underground manhole increased. And shortly thereafter quickly back out when we first had dealt with the prices of public transport in London. We were running, we had finally time. Time, hunger, and slowly but surely nasty leg pain. So what? Teeth clenched, as one needs to. And we would see even more of the city. And actually, one was even out of the confusion, it was suddenly deserted. Again, we dangled us from card to card and again we crossed very nice streets and alleys. But what we found was an open bar. Not a snack, nothing. We moved into the metropolis of London, by the central location in the center of what was humanly possible. And there was nothing to eat. Absolutely nothing. 10pm had everything closed. Our now almost unbearable hunger drive us forward, in the hope that something in the station-to-find en. We crossed a very scary night-acting industrial area and passed a number of closed pubs. And then, just before the finish we actually saw anything open. Packed with London party people. Screeching, bawling, boozing. No chance. Of course it was not a place, not to mention quite a bit between the gills. Of course we were not the only people who are looking for something in London food and discovered this rarity. And so we said goodbye to the idea of a peaceful end and dragged ourselves exhausted in the station. There we saw ... nothing. At least at first Everything had to look. But then we discovered a small stand in a corner, which actually sold more baguettes, presumably about to be closed. Finally have something again in the stomach, the first after the Bu rger fourteen hours, one filled with a cozy feeling. But the leg pain could be combated only with real pain medication. contribute to later, when they began a quarter-hour, I was again full of energy. While my company did not look as they would do only one step, but still three hours to sit around in the cold station was not an option. So once again the plans were forged. What we had

not yet seen what can be achieved with the subway? I would have liked to have my 500 and had fully Founds for another cache in the eye.
A can directly on the Greenwich Meridian. Views would have liked, as my GPS device shows in a coordinate all zeros. But for that you had to know, Greenwich to Greenwich, or more precisely North. This is eight p.m. U-Bahn minutes from Liverpool Street. But as I said, basically, we had time. And drive we were sitting now, rather than running forever. We looked at the metro map and defined a circular route. Once Greenwich, then Sherlock Holmes of Baker Street 221b visit, and as a conclusion even after the King's Cross Track 93 / 4 So we became friends at this late hour but still with a day ticket, which was in contrast to the individual tour not so great expensive. After a magnificent chaos - what color our subway and various road closures have been calculated in our weekend, which forced us to huge roundabout way, if we did not leave our tariff zone illegally - but still we found the right train. Exactly one station but later we asked a damn unfriendly voice, immediately leave the train, the stations would close now. Just imagine once: It was just after 1am on a Sunday and the London Tube is closing. So we stood back, before the with gates closed doors of a metro station, completely discouraged. in the pocket two freshly purchased day tickets.

We now simply have wandered away without hesitation. We wanted to buy a bus ticket is no longer, they knew then what malice was waiting there for us? We walked along any main road, applied suddenly, as the Kleene decided again to try to see the water. We wandered the H auptstraße back. Past the narrow streets with nothing but closed pubs. Depression at some point we reached the Thames. Almost exactly at the point where we first Time had seen. Out of sheer boredom I set out to examine the walls for a third time after that darn box. We finally had tons of time. And do not feel like running. Even now it was low tide. Even now i found nothing ch.

We are reminded, as seen at noon on the Millennium Bridge from the Tower Bridge to have. We noticed that we were missing from the typical London Sightseeing catalog nor the tower and the associated bridge. And so we Schlu
rften half motivated down the Thames in the opposite direction. The streets were deserted, only here and there a reception prior to any major office buildings. We were after a seemingly endless march occurring We on the walls of the Tower of London. And I have to admit, that impressed me. Somehow I always had only this middle section with the four towers in mind when they spoke from the tower. But this well-fortified castle with its battlements and walls was pretty g Ewalt. Along those walls we circled n the former seat of power half and entered the coronation or the Tower Bridge. I tried desperately a photo directly from the middle of the road to get out, but although the weak but steady traffic and screaming my company gave me little to chance. Frantically I shot a reasonably sharp image.

It was about time. Somewhat targeted so we walked back to the station, where we witnessed the re-opening live. As expected, this was closed shortly after we had left him. Inside expected u been the conductor of the StandstedExpresses ns, which is manifested at early hours or as a bus. Shortly after we sat inside and then, after more than 24 hours and 25km, it was dark around me.

At the airport I awoke. Everything went rather quickly, we boarded one of the first machines to start in London. The current cloud-free night in Britain provided a fitting backdrop to the last hours in thought Rev
ue to let happen. It was wonderful, despite or because of the hardships and lessons learned at the end. If everything would run totally smooth, it would be too stupid, right? I gladly would have taken only one cache found. But you can not have everything, right?

So we in Germany after the second gathering of the sun
naufgangs within one day pushed through the clouds waiting for us a picture full of disasters. Water wherever you look. Most frozen. Flow curves were practically invisible, fields became lakes. No question, we were back in the cold, flooded homes. How different 10 ° C but can appear. A world of difference between island and mainland.

Back in Moabit was first started just preparation for market of China kebab shop. Thus, a baguette does not really last long. Was good to sit in the just awakening and yet familiar streets and finally come to rest. With breakfast noodles China in the stomach. We talked for another we
king with the kebab man who donated us black tea, no EarlGrey, but also delicious. Whether I would like London? Yes totally. Whether I would want to live there? Decisive No! A city without food or subway at night and constantly present and very shrill siren setting is not for me. And the absence of awareness of waste, dogs and dog shit, and j ny graffiti and posters were London somehow seem sterile. There may be other places, but I know not met. But for a medium-long stay I would have to visit just about the entire theater once . But then let's get back to Berlin with his quiet Spätis and breakfast kebabs. :)
